Winter Relief Program
Everyone Deserves Respect and Dignity
We have started discussions with the Annapolis Winter Relief program about the best ways to support the homeless in the cold weather. Our purpose is to keep people safe, connect them with resources, and treat them with respect.
What is unique about We Care and Friends
We go out in the streets, under the bridges, and into the woods to check on our homeless clients. We make sure every walk of life from the kids to grandparents know we can help find shelter, clothes, food, counseling, drug treatment, and employment.
More than anything our homeless clients want to be acknowledged and respected. A simple, “Hi. How are you today?” goes a long way.
